Yes — we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. There are no after-hours surcharges for emergency service.

Tell the dispatcher immediately when you call — we treat that as a top-priority emergency. If it's hot, cold, or the situation looks dangerous, also call 911. They have tools to unlock the car if seconds matter.

Flat-rate. We give you a written quote on the phone before we dispatch — covering parts, programming, and labor. The price you hear is the price you pay. No trip fees in our standard service area.

Yes — up to 75% less on most car keys. We program transponder keys, key fobs, and smart keys on-site without towing. We focus on US, Japanese, and Korean makes (Honda, Toyota, Ford, Chevy, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Jeep, Ram and others) — for European luxury vehicles like BMW, Audi, Mercedes, VW, or Porsche we recommend going directly to the dealer who has the manufacturer credentials to do the work correctly.

No. Phone estimates are free. If you decide not to proceed after we arrive, you don't pay (unless your situation differs significantly from the phone description — we'd re-quote first).

Cash, all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Personal checks require pre-approval.

Yes — we use professional, non-destructive entry tools designed for modern vehicles. Locks, windows, weather stripping, and paint stay intact.

Yes. We can generate a new transponder key, smart key, or fob from scratch for most vehicles up to current model year. We come to your location and program it on-site.

Almost never. We bring all required equipment to your location — including the diagnostic tools and software needed to program transponder and smart keys for most makes.

Typical timeframe is 20-45 minutes on-site, depending on the make and model. Most domestic vehicles are on the lower end; some European luxury vehicles take longer.

Yes — we are NASTF-certified (National Automotive Service Task Force), which is the industry standard for secure key programming for modern vehicles.

Rekey changes the internal pins so existing locks accept a new key (cheaper, faster). Replace swaps the entire lock (used when the lock is damaged or you want to upgrade the security grade).

Yes — we install and program smart locks (Schlage Encode, August, Yale, Kwikset, Level) and set them up with your home Wi-Fi and assistant (Alexa, Google Home, HomeKit) on request.

Yes. We do free walk-throughs, then recommend upgrades — Grade 1 deadbolts, strike plate reinforcement, smart locks with audit logs, restricted keyways. We give you a quote before any work.

Yes — commercial rekey, master key systems, access control, panic bars, push-bar exit devices, and security consultations. We can provide proof of insurance ahead of any project.

Yes. We design master key systems for multi-unit buildings, offices, and properties so management can use one master while individual users have their own keys.

Yes. We hold NC Locksmith Licensing Board NC License #3024, carry $1,000,000 liability insurance, and we are bonded. We are also NASTF-certified for secure automotive key programming.

For lockouts: a valid photo ID. For vehicle services: proof of ownership (title, registration, or insurance card). For residential lockouts: ID matching the address (or lease/utility bill). This protects everyone.

Yes. Car keys are warrantied 6 months (aftermarket) or 1 year (OEM) from the service date. Lock workmanship and supplied hardware are covered separately. See our Warranty page for the full terms.
