Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD are contractor and fleet trucks — these are working vehicles that lose keys in real field conditions. Crew cab, regular cab, and double cab configurations all use the same key; door count does not change the blank.
Sierra HD follows the same K2HD → T1HD key transition as the light-duty Sierra 1500 but with a one-year lag: HD kept M3N32337100 through 2019, while the 1500 switched at 2019. T1HD (2020+) uses the same smart proximity key as the Sierra 1500 — HYQ1EA through 2021, then YG0G21TB2 from 2022. Allison-equipped HD models (diesel) use the same key as gas models.
