The 2007–2013 GMT900 Tahoe uses the OHT01060512 flip key shared across the GM truck platform. The K2XX generation (2014–2020) has two key types depending on trim: base LS/LT models without push-start use the M3N-32337100 remote fob, while LTZ/Premier/RST models with push-start use the 6-button HYQ1AA smart key. - 2007–2013 (GMT900 — LS, LT, LTZ): PN 5913396 (4B) / 5913397 (5B). Same flip key as the GMT900 Silverado and Suburban. The blade snaps in the door lock on Tahoes that rely exclusively on keyless entry and haven't used the physical exterior lock in years.
- 2014–2020 (K2XX — LS/LT without push-start): PN 22859397 / 13577769. Non-proximity — requires button press to unlock, no Start button on the dash. Same FCC ID as K2XX Silverado and Sierra. If your Tahoe does not have a push-start button, this is your key.
- 2015–2020 (K2XX — LTZ/Premier/RST with push-start): PN 13580802 / 13508278. Six-button layout: Lock, Unlock, Remote Start, Rear Liftgate, Rear Glass, Panic — the Tahoe-signature remote start fob. All-keys-lost on an HYQ1AA Tahoe requires erasing all stored fobs before adding new ones — plan for 45+ min on AKL calls.
